Your support of The Village Church means we can continue to serve our community, following the role model of Christ. Support comes in the means of time, talents, and yes, financial support.
Your financial faithfulness makes the ministries of your church possible.
In striving to make it easy and convenient for you to support our church, we have set up online giving as a means to receive your donations, tithes, and payments for church activities that have a cost associated with them. Wherever you have internet access you can support The Village Church! Reducing the amount of effort in receiving donations also benefits our church (no need to process checks, handle cash, fill out deposit slips or manually track funds).
When paying/donating online, you may use your debit card (Visa, MasterCard), or you may use your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). Please carefully and prayerfully consider any payments you make via “credit,” as it is NOT our desire to have anyone create debt to support the church.

If you are giving online to The Village Church for the first time, here is some information that will help...
1) You will be asked to enter your email (where you want confirmation of your payments sent) and select a password. It is very similar to setting up any online account. Please follow the screen prompts. You will be asked to enter all appropriate information normally associated with setting up an online payment account (name, billing address associated with the payment card, the 3 digit security code, etc.). The information you enter is encrypted and stored by our financial institution and will be used for future donations and payments. You can add or delete a payment card at any time. One more thing: your credit card information is NEVER on file or stored at the church.
2) Subsequent visits to our giving site are easy. Enter your email and password, and you will be taken to the “payment page” where you can decide how much you would like to give - you will not have to re-enter all your information (see above). (If you forget your password, a link will be sent to your email address—click the link in the email, follow the directions and you are back in business).
3) An easy way to make sure your tithe is paid, is to set up a recurring payment by selecting the “Contribution Type” button on the page. You set the day of the month you want your gift to be made and you set the amount. Each time your tithe is paid, you get a reminder email letting you know. Recurring giving occurs once monthly. We have found some donors want their gifts to have a greater frequency but a smaller amount--often to more closely coincide with a payroll cycle. So, for example, rather than one donation of $1000 once a month, you can set up 2 different recurring gifts for $500 each-- one to be given on the 1st day of the month and another to be given on the 15th of the month.
Remember- you have complete control over the amount, frequency and timing.
Just log in and make any desired changes and it usually takes effect within 24 hours of your input. Changes entered on a Holiday or weekend may take longer.
4) Tell us where you want your money to go. Is it a tithe, offering for a special project, church mission, or for altar flowers? Are you giving to a Capital Campaign underway at the church? Or do you want to purchase a Wonderful Wednesday dinner, Matt’s Meal, or pay for a youth function? The pull-down designations make it easy to let us know.
Letting us know where you want your money to go makes sure we get it properly recorded.
5) Next, there is a “Notes about your Payment” text box where you may tell us any details you want us to know regarding your contribution or payment.
6) Finally...many wish to continue to present their tithes and offerings on the altar every Sunday. You may continue this tradition by printing out a copy of the online transaction, and then placing it in the collection plate on Sunday as normal.
We appreciate your using online giving as a convenient and easy way to financially support The Village Church… and in turn helping in our efforts to spread the good news and saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

A note on finances at the Village Church
The Village Church commissioned an Annual Audit in November of 2009 for the fiscal year ending December 2008. This Audit was performed by the Janice W. Lake, C.P.A. firm in St. Augustine, Florida. The Village Church was found to be in compliance with all financial controls and all monies were found to be credited to the correct designations. Copies of this Audit are available at the church office upon request. Any questions as to the finances of The Village Church can be directed to Mr. Don Withers at treasurer@villagechurchwgv.com
